Our Story

An Organization Focused on Patients

Our story at Odyssey Medical Group is one rooted in family, purpose, and innovation. As a family-owned organization, we embarked on a journey driven by a shared vision—to address the pressing need for accessible and modern medical services for isolated Hoosiers. Drawing from our diverse backgrounds in healthcare, technology, and business, we recognized a unique opportunity to combine our collective expertise and experiences. It was this fusion of skills and perspectives that inspired us to create a company dedicated to delivering patient-centered care tailored to the individual, leveraging the latest advancements in technology and streamlined processes. Our journey is not just about building a business; it's about making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve, one patient at a time. Through our unwavering commitment to innovation and excellence, we continue to strive towards our mission of reshaping healthcare delivery for the better.

Embarking on our journey at Odyssey Medical Group, we embraced innovation as a cornerstone of our mission. Recognizing the transformative potential of technology in healthcare, we were among the pioneers in utilizing remote patient monitoring and chronic care management programs. Leveraging the wealth of data collected through these initiatives, we have pioneered proactive interventions aimed at preventing the exacerbation of medical conditions. By doing so, we empower our patients to maintain their independence and well-being over the long term. What sets us apart is our collaborative approach. Unlike traditional models, we actively engage with our patients' other healthcare providers, fostering a cohesive network of care. This collaborative effort ensures that every aspect of our patients' health is comprehensively addressed, leading to better outcomes and enhanced quality of life. Moreover, at Odyssey Medical Group, we firmly uphold the principle of patient choice. We believe that individuals should have the autonomy to make decisions about their healthcare journey. With this philosophy at our core, we empower our patients to actively participate in their care, providing them with the support and resources necessary to make informed choices aligned with their unique needs and preferences.

Matthew Penticuff

Co-Founder COO

I grew up knowing very early that I wanted to dedicate my life to helping others. While at Indiana University I was given multiple opportunities to see first hand the various barriers and inefficiencies that plagued the healthcare system and became passionate about finding solutions. Pivoting from Pre-Med to Business I went on to obtain my MBA from Ball State University with a double concentration in Entrepreneurship and Healthcare Administration all the while building the framework for what would become Odyssey Medical Group. Rooted in a philosophy of ethical business I seek to balance modern technologies including telemedicine and AI with traditional medicine to expand access and services to patients going through their own unique medical journeys.
